Fleet Operations Lead

Max Drive is recruiting for a Fleet Operations Lead to manage setup, maintenance, refurbishment and security of the fleet within Lokoja, Kogi. The role involves maintaining accurate vehicle records, ensuring proper check-in and check-out, and overseeing activation and documentation processes. It also covers vehicle maintenance, liaising with OEMs, tracking insurance claims, and coordinating with service workshops. The Fleet Operations Lead is responsible for fleet refurbishment planning, live location tracking, budgeting, inventory control, petty cash management, and driving cost efficiency. The position targets candidates with relevant fleet management experience and an engineering or business background, and requires working within the specified jurisdiction.

What you would do

• Maintain daily activation records in the jurisdiction.
• Ensure inactive vehicles do not exceed 2% in the domain.
• Verify check-in and check-out of every vehicle entering/leaving the facility.
• Ensure VAMS records are accurate and reliable.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all vehicles in the city jurisdiction.
• Oversee activation of vehicles that are ready for use and manage procurement/setup within budget.
• Upload vehicle information into VAMS accurately.
• Coordinate vehicle documentation to complete setup.
• Ensure vehicles scheduled for maintenance are checked in and maintained in VAMS.
• Maintain records of maintenance for all operational vehicles and ensure compliance with laws related to repair and use of vehicles and equipment.
