Fleet Manager
About this role
The Fleet Manager will oversee the group’s vehicle fleet across its Lagos‑based subsidiaries for Cool TV and Wazobia TV. The role aims to maximise vehicle availability, efficiency and cost control while ensuring regulatory compliance and the safe transport of staff, guests, equipment and goods. It also covers managing drivers, fleet vendors, vehicle documentation, maintenance, fuel management and fleet performance reporting in a fast‑paced, multi‑industry environment.
What you would do
- Manage the Group’s fleet across all subsidiaries to ensure vehicle availability and operational efficiency.
- Schedule and deploy vehicles for engineering site visits, broadcast operations, logistics and events.
- Allocate vehicles fairly across subsidiaries and escalate conflicts when necessary.
- Ensure safe and timely transport of staff, guests, equipment and goods, including emergency and on‑call coverage.
- Maintain vehicle documentation and oversee maintenance, inspections, repairs, insurance and licensing.
- Oversee fuel management, vehicle tracking and the fleet budget with performance reporting.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, Engineering).
- 5–7 years’ experience in fleet or transport management with multiple vehicles, drivers and locations.
- Experience managing fleet operations across multiple units or industries is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fuel management and fleet tracking systems.
- Understanding of transport regulations, vehicle documentation, insurance and road safety requirements.
- Demonstrated experience supervising drivers and implementing safety and compliance standards.
