About this role
Casalavoro Limited is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the company’s fleet operations, maintenance, safety and efficiency. The role requires practical mechanical knowledge to manage vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis and preventive maintenance, while coordinating drivers and monitoring fuel use and costs. Location is Abuja (Wuse 2, FCT) and the position is full-time. The employer operates across real estate, hospitality, asset management and agricultural trading, and aims to ensure vehicles are roadworthy, available and cost-effective. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle records, supervising fleet usage across offices and sites, arranging repairs, and ensuring safety and compliance.
What you would do
- Maintain an up-to-date fleet register with vehicle details, documents, service history and assigned drivers
- Oversee daily fleet operations and ensure efficient vehicle utilisation
- Develop and implement fleet management procedures to improve efficiency and accountability
- Coordinate vehicle allocation and scheduling across offices, residential properties and sites
- Monitor vehicle usage, mileage, driver activities and operational performance
- Verify repairs and servicing before vehicles return to operation
- Monitor recurring faults and coordinate long-term solutions with workshops
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules based on mileage and manufacturer recommendations
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections for mechanical and safety issues
- Advise management on repairs, replacement or withdrawal of vehicles
