First Mile & Last Mile Manager
About this role
The role oversees first mile and last mile pickup and delivery operations in Lagos and select locations, supervising a team of operators to ensure on-time, efficient, and compliant service. It targets individuals with logistics or delivery operations experience and leadership ability who are based in Lagos, Owerri/Asaba, or Oshogbo.
What you would do
- Lead and supervise a team of First Mile & Last Mile Operators
- Assign daily tasks and routes based on workload and customer requirements
- Provide guidance, training and support to team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and give feedback to improve performance
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery and customer satisfaction and take corrective actions
- Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Procurement and Customer Service to optimise processes

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred
- 5+ years in logistics operations or delivery services, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with route planning, tracking and reporting tools (e.g., GPS, route optimisation software)
- Ability to work independently and in a team, based in Lagos, Owerri/Asaba or Oshogbo
