Financial Service Officer
About this role
A full‑time Financial Services Officer based in Abuja will promote and deliver financial services such as savings, loans, investments and related solutions. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, building client relationships and supporting customers through the financial service processes. What you would do
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and prospective clients
- Explain financial products, eligibility, terms and application procedures
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, applications and pending transactions
- Assist customers with account opening, loan applications and related documentation
- Maintain accurate customer records and prepare periodic reports
- Monitor customer acquisition and conversion rates and other targets
- Promote savings, loan and investment products to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to support service delivery
- Identify and develop new business opportunities via acquisition, referrals and networking
- Support and assist customers through relevant financial-service processes

- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline
- Experience in sales, banking, microfinance, fintech, customer relations or business development is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to meet targets, manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong organisational skills, integrity and attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Demonstrated interest in financial services, sales, business development or relationship management
- Good negotiation, persuasion and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills
