Financial Reporting & Controlling Specialist

The role supports the finance function with timely reporting, monitoring of performance, and implementing effective financial controls. What you would do
- Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules and analyses
- Compile financial information from systems and departments for reporting
- Review data for completeness, accuracy and consistency before submission
- Assist with month-end closing and meet reporting deadlines
- Present key financial movements, trends and variances in reports
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts
- Analyse variances and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Monitor income, expenditure and other indicators to identify risks or improvement opportunities
- Support cost-control initiatives and ensure compliance with procedures
- Assist with general ledger reviews, journal entries and supporting schedules

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, management accounting or finance operations
- Experience preparing monthly financial reports and analysing performance
- Understanding of financial statements, general ledger and internal controls
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting/ERP systems
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
