What you would do

• Consolidate and analyse financial data to align with company goals
• Provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
• Assemble and summarise data to produce reports on financial status and risks
• Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking and process analysis
• Conduct business studies on past, present and comparative performance and develop forecasts
• Identify trends and advise senior analysts on actions based on analysis
• Track financial status by comparing actual results with forecasts
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
• Update knowledge of industry developments and financial practices
• Support management in strategic decision-making and policy initiatives

• HND or BSc in Finance, Economics or related field
• Proven experience as a Finance Analyst
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software
• Experience with statistical analysis and packages

• Awareness of current financial subjects including accounting, tax laws, money markets and business environments
