Finance Specialist - Payables

The role is a finance position focused on managing the company’s payables, cash outflows and vendor relationships while maintaining financial accuracy. Seven Up Bottling Company operates multiple automated bottling plants in Nigeria and is seeking a candidate to oversee payables in Lagos. The job involves ensuring proper reconciliations, timely postings, tax compliance and accurate reporting related to payables. What you would do
- Perform routine vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Manage relationships with vendors and respond to queries within 24 hours
- Attach all supporting documents to SAP postings within 24 hours of posting
- Ensure VAT and WHT tax compliance across postings and transactions
- Complete allocated regional postings within 4 days and clear inter-region postings before month-end
- Process and post OTC invoices within 24 hours of receipt
- Reduce payment errors and flag VAT, ERP or price/quantity mismatches promptly
- Complete GR/IR postings within 3 days
- Maintain accurate descriptions on outstanding reporting lines
- Monitor and support accurate regional and inter-region financial activities

- BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
