Finance Specialist
About this role
A Finance Specialist is needed to handle local NGN payments, expense reviews and related accounting tasks for Xiaomi Nigeria, based in Lagos. The role requires coordination with the headquarters and cross-cultural communication, and targets candidates with finance or accounting background and bilingual Mandarin-English skills.
What you would do
- Process local currency payments and record transactions
- Reconcile payments with book records and actuals
- Review daily local expenses for authenticity and policy compliance
- Prepare accounting entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Coordinate with headquarters finance team on expenses, payments and compliance
- Communicate policies and provide support to local business teams

- 2–4 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel and office software
