Finance Officer

Resource Intermediaries Limited is seeking a Finance Officer in Lagos. The role involves analysing financial data to identify cost optimisation opportunities, ensuring accurate recording in the general ledger and cost centres, and supporting budget management and management reporting.

What you would do

• Collect and analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Ensure expenses and cost transactions are recorded accurately in the appropriate cost centre and general ledger.
• Monitor actual costs versus budget and report variances with recommendations.
• Participate in month-end stock counts to verify inventory and align with financial balances.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing departmental budgets to improve accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives including process improvements and supplier negotiations.
