Finance Manager - MFB
About this role
AjoCard Limited is seeking a full-time Finance Manager for its microfinance bank, based on-site in Ikorodu, Lagos. The role focuses on managing financial operations including budgeting, cash flow, reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic decisions through financial analysis for the MFB.
What you would do
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
- monitor key performance indicators and financial analysis
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors and regulators
- Develop and maintain internal controls and risk management processes
- document and ensure regulatory compliance and financial documentation
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an advantage
- Experience in microfinance, retail banking or financial services, with managerial or supervisory exposure
- Knowledge of microfinance operations and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and cash flow management
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis
