Finance Manager

About this role

Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, reporting and controls for one or more subsidiary entities within a financial services group in Lagos. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and the ability to work within a matrix reporting structure while supporting subsidiary management and group standards.

What you would do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and group standards.
• Ensure integrity of the general ledger with reconciliations and close processes.
• Consolidate entity financials for group reporting and support management performance reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate audits, tax filings and regulatory examinations.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, analyse variances and support pricing and cost decisions.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements for the entity.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA or equivalent).
• 5 to 8 years post-qualification experience in financial services, with 2 to 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian regulatory reporting (CBN, SEC).
• Experience in a group/holding company structure is an advantage.
