Finance Manager
About this role
A Finance Manager is needed for a Lagos-based EdTech subsidiary to manage financial operations, reporting, controls, budgeting, cash flow, compliance and planning within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The role targets qualified finance professionals with strong accounting knowledge and commercial awareness who can partner with senior leadership.
What you would do
- Prepare and submit financial reports for the Group Finance function
- Maintain accuracy of financial records and management accounts
- Analyse performance, variances and key financial indicators to provide insights
- Manage day-to-day financial operations of the business
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Ensure financial controls, compliance and support internal/external audits

- 5–7 years of post-qualification finance and accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- ACA qualification mandatory
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with accounting/ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Ability to work independently and across functions in a fast-paced environment
