Finance Intern (NYSC or 1 Year IT)
About this role
Apex Pharmalab is seeking a Finance Intern (NYSC or 1 year IT) to support day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, reporting and transaction monitoring across retail outlets in Lagos. The role targets graduates with basic accounting knowledge and strong numerical skills for an internship in the Finance department.
What you would do
- Support monthly closing activities and prepare financial reports
- Assist with daily reconciliation of branch sales, POS transactions, cash and bank transfers
- Enter data into the accounting/ERP system
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Process and review invoices, payment requests and receipts
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and investigate stock/value variances

- Minimum OND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
