Finance Intern

About this role

Role: Finance Intern (contract) with The Elevation Church in Lagos. The role requires daily postings into the organisation's ERP system and generating reports after reconciliations. It operates Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and reports to the Finance team.

What you would do

• Post daily transactions into the ERP software.
• Reconcile bank transactions with ERP postings.
• Collate data for postings and reporting and support ERP processes.
• Identify and escalate any failed transactions for re-upload.
• Generate general ledger and trial balance reports.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements.

What they are asking for

• OND/HND or BSc in Finance or Accounting.
• Accounting experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and accounting procedures.
• Basic knowledge of using accounting software.
• Proficient in word processing and Excel.
• Analytical, problem solving, self-management, integrity, goal‑oriented and hardworking; able to work as part of a team or independently.
