VURIN Group is looking for a Finance Intern in Lagos to support the finance team with daily financial operations. The role provides hands-on exposure to processes such as bank reconciliations, imprest review and retirement, expenses and invoices, invoice posting, and payroll postings, within a structured corporate finance environment in the energy sector. This position is suited to individuals seeking practical experience in accounting and financial controls.
What you would do
- Assist with imprest retirement and review
- Verify expenses for accuracy, documentation and policy compliance
- Prepare and update bank reconciliations; investigate discrepancies
- Manage expense and invoice workflows; ensure approvals
- Post approved invoices into the accounting system
- Support payroll-related postings and statutory contributions (ITF, NSITF, Pension)
