Finance Intern

What you would do

• Assist with matching supplier payments and customer receipts to invoices and supporting documentation.
• Support vendor and customer account reconciliations and investigate differences.
• Maintain records of invoices, payment confirmations and supporting documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding documentation or transaction queries.
• Upload and organise supplier invoices, receipts and documents in finance systems.
• Support reconciliation of employee advances and expense claims.
• Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations and journal documentation.
• Support bank and mobile money reconciliations and highlight reconciling items.
• Prepare reports and schedules for monthly financial reporting and management review.
• Support audit and compliance activities and general finance administration.
