Finance Business Partner

About this role

Finance Business Partner role based in Lagos for Credit Direct Limited, a payroll-based consumer lending company. You will develop and maintain financial and accounting procedures to support the company’s diverse business divisions and act as a liaison between Finance and other departments on projects. You will also guide junior staff, help implement efficient financial systems and policies, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to budgeting and performance reporting.

What you would do

• Act as a liaison between Finance and other departments for special projects.
• Lead and supervise junior staff, including recruitment, disciplinary actions and performance evaluations.
• Recommend and implement cost-effective financial and accounting systems, policies and processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain financial controls.
• Provide financial analysis and modelling to support planning and decision making.
• Produce monthly performance packages for each division and support budgeting with non-finance managers.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree (upper second class) in finance, economics or a related field.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel/PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good IT literacy and ability to adapt to new systems.
