Finance and Accounts Manager
About this role
A Finance and Accounts Manager is needed to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, controls and compliance for a Lagos-based organisation. The role targets an experienced finance professional capable of leading a team and driving financial processes to support business growth.
What you would do
- Prepare financial forecasts, management reports and performance analyses
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management
- Monitor costs, profitability and gross margins with improvement recommendations
- Develop and monitor budgets and track expenditure against approvals
- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team
- Use ERP systems and reporting tools to enhance financial visibility and efficiency
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Professional certification such as ICAN (ACA), ACCA or equivalent preferred
- 7–10 years’ progressive finance and accounting experience including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, taxation and controls
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
