Finance & Admin Manager (Retail Chain Store)

About this role

Finance and Admin Manager for a Lagos-based retail chain. The role oversees financial reporting, store accounting, payroll, tax and audit support, inventory data accuracy, and regional IT and admin infrastructure.

What you would do

• Prepare and present the region's monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and Balance Sheet.
• Oversee the store-related accounting function across the region.
• Manage payments and banking procedures.
• Plan cash pickups from stores.
• Administer payroll, including contracts, statutory requirements and salary payments.
• Coordinate with tax and accounting advisers and external auditors.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, administration or a similar managerial role.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, including preparation and review of Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
• Strong understanding of store accounting, banking, payments, payroll and financial controls; good knowledge of tax, accounting and labour-law compliance.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Netsuite/Retail Pro experience will be an added advantage.
