What you would do
- Safely dispose of pots, plant materials and lab waste after nematode diagnosis in line with biosafety and waste procedures.
- Ensure security and proper handling of passengers, students, project documents and equipment during transportation.
- Collect, collate and enter data related to field activities.
- Transport sterilised soil to screen houses or locations.
- Maintain unit vehicle, soil machines and lab equipment.
- Perform nematode extraction and operate soil sterilisation equipment; regulate nematode populations and manage screen houses, micro plots and field plants during diagnosis.

- BSc/HND in Agriculture, Biological Sciences, Plant Science, Crop Science or related field with practical field and laboratory experience.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.

- Experience in research, survey implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and data collection.
- Ability to operate material handling tools and equipment.
