About this role
Field Specialist - Completions & Wellbore Intervention is a Baker Hughes role based in Rivers. You will support field operations and run Cased Hole Completions and wellbore intervention applications under supervision, while engaging with customers. The role includes equipment checks, paperwork, training and adherence to HSE policies and Baker Hughes Core Values.
What you would do
- Run multiple medium to high risk operations in one or more Cased Hole Completions product lines under supervisor direction
- Expand and apply knowledge to increasingly complex Cased Hole Completions applications
- Ensure supplied equipment is compatible with other equipment used for the job
- Provide frontline support to customers and accurately complete paperwork prior to and upon completion of the job
- Conduct on-the-job training for some Cased Hole Completions applications as required
- Conduct all business activities in accordance with HSE policies, legal compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values
What they are asking for
- A two-year technical qualification or an associate degree
- Five years of experience in completions and wellbore intervention field operations
- Knowledge of engineering concepts
- Ability to communicate with various clients and good customer service skills
- Quickly adapts to changing job assignments/requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
