About this role

Kaduna-based Field Service Engineer (Solar Energy) responsible for maintaining energy uptime at sites and hubs and resolving technical issues across Nigeria. The role targets individuals with a strong technical or engineering background who can multitask, take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment, with travel across the country required.

What you would do

• Monitor the system to ensure energy uptime and diagnose and fix technical issues at sites
• Support the setup of new hubs, ensure connectivity and perform routine energy system maintenance
• Travel to hubs or undertake remote troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Oversee the installation and configuration of solar panels, electrical wiring and related equipment
• Document field activities and maintain hub equipment and component inventories
• Prepare reports on hub health and other technical issues for the Regional Service Engineer

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or substantial hands-on experience in energy/telecommunications sectors
• 2-3 years of technical/engineering experience in telecommunications/energy or related sectors

• Proficiency with data analysis tools and reporting software including MS Office and Google products
