Field Sales Representatives

About this role

The Field Sales Representative will drive sales, product distribution and brand visibility in Lagos, focusing on market penetration, building retail relationships and achieving revenue targets. The role targets open markets, wholesalers and retailers across key Lagos hubs and reports to the Assistant Sales Manager.

What you would do

• Meet monthly sales, distribution and market penetration targets in the territory
• Build and maintain relationships with open-market traders, wholesalers and retailers
• Prospect for new retail outlets, negotiate orders and ensure product supply
• Coordinate payment reconciliations for orders
• Gather field intelligence on competitors, market trends and customer feedback
• Ensure proper merchandising, display and shelf positioning of products and submit field activity reports

What they are asking for

• OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• 2 to 3 years of field sales experience in FMCG
• Knowledge of Lagos open-market landscape and distribution channels (advantage if familiar with Oke-Arin, Trade Fair, Agege or Ipaja)
• Strong negotiation, customer relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage routes and meet sales targets
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
