Field Sales Officer (Solar Energy)

About this role

A full-time Field Sales Officer role focused on solar energy, based in Lagos with potential across multiple southwest states. The position targets acquiring new customers, managing agents and merchants, and meeting monthly sales targets within the assigned territory.

What you would do

• Drive sales of solar energy products in the assigned territory and meet monthly targets
• Identify and secure new customers through field sales and other channels
• Recruit and manage sales agents and support merchant onboarding
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Follow up on leads to convert opportunities into sales
• Monitor market activity and provide feedback to the sales team on customer needs and competitor trends

• Bachelor’s Degree, HND or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant sales experience, preferably in solar energy or related industries
• Experience in agent management, recruitment, or merchant onboarding is highly desirable
• Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion and customer relationship management skills
• Knowledge of BNPL sales model is a plus
• Ability to develop customer relationships and expand agent or merchant networks
