Field Sales Officer (Solar Energy)

A Field Sales Officer for solar energy based in Lagos, responsible for driving product sales in the assigned area, acquiring new customers, and managing sales agents to meet monthly targets. The role focuses on building merchant and customer relationships and expanding the sales network.

What you would do

• Drive solar energy product sales within the assigned territory and meet monthly targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers through field sales, direct marketing, referrals and other channels.
• Recruit and manage sales agents, and support merchant onboarding to grow the sales network.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers and convert leads into sales.
• Monitor market activity and relay feedback on customer needs and competitor trends to the sales team.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve business objectives.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's Degree, HND or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant sales experience, preferably in solar energy, renewable energy, consumer electronics, fintech or related industries.
• Experience in agent management, recruitment, merchant onboarding or similar roles is desirable.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion and CRM skills.
• Knowledge of BNPL sales model is an added advantage.
