Moniepoint Incorporated is hiring a Field Sales Agent to work in Lagos. The role is full-time and field-based, focused on acquiring merchants for Moniebook and expanding the company’s market presence. The agent identifies suitable businesses, demonstrates the product, signs them up, and hands them over to the onboarding team. The employer provides training, benefits, and a base salary with uncapped commissions. The position targets individuals with previous field or direct sales experience who can travel within the designated area.
What you would do
- Close deals and secure paid subscriptions
- Conduct live product demonstrations for potential merchants
- Build and maintain a lead bank, logging leads and field visits daily in the CRM
- Hit and exceed a monthly acquisition target of 10 new subscriptions
- Qualify leads using the Ideal Customer Profile before pitching
- Visit and canvass businesses daily in the assigned territory
- Hand customers over to the onboarding team for setup and implementation
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and minimize churn through smooth post-sale handovers
- Maintain an organised pipeline with daily CRM updates of visits and qualified leads
- Deliver high conversion rates through solution-led product demonstrations
What they are asking for
- At least 2 years of proven direct sales or field sales experience (SaaS, FMCG, fintech, telecoms, or similar)
- Resident in Lagos or willing to travel across the designated coverage area
- Experience selling SaaS products is an added advantage (training provided)
- Tech-savvy with smartphones, mobile apps, CRM software, and routine reporting
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to close deals and handle objections
- Good knowledge of local market, business clusters, and merchant corridors in the territory
- Self-driven with excellent time management and route planning
- Confident, persuasive, and articulate communicator
- Demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to maintain a robust pipeline and consistent activity reporting
