Field Pharmacist
About this role
A Field Pharmacist role supporting INTERSOS in Borno, overseeing pharmacy stock management across health facilities and the regional warehouse under the guidance of the Project Manager and Pharmacy Officer. The position is for candidates with a pharmacy degree and experience in pharmaceutical logistics, preferably with humanitarian work experience in challenging settings.
What you would do
- Provide reliable stock information for projects when needed
- Update and maintain stock cards and inventory tools
- Ensure proper storage of items and follow good storage practices
- Prepare and submit stock transfer requests to the central pharmacy
- Support stock forecast and supply requests with the medical team and Project Manager
- Assist in delivering medications to patients and explaining usage and precautions
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (BPharm)
- Registration with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria and licence
- At least 4 years' experience in similar roles
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy and medical supply chains
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Desirable: prior humanitarian sector experience or work in challenging environments
