Field Operator - Compressor Station (Manpower Contract)

About this role

Field Operator for the compressor station, reporting to the Flow Station Team Lead and based in Delta. The role involves monitoring field operational parameters, logging data, and managing start-up and shut-down of systems, with routine maintenance duties to support safe plant operation.

What you would do

• Monitor field operational parameters and log them in the relevant log sheets.
• Monitor GDM to optimise lift gas injection and adjust operations as required.
• Start up and shut down the respective systems when needed.
• Communicate operational parameters to the control room during regular operations, start-ups and shutdowns.
• Hand over necessary information to the incoming shift to maintain or improve plant performance.
• Perform daily, monthly and quarterly checks and maintenance as scheduled.

• BSc or HND in science or engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience may compensate formal education.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic understanding of the maintenance and operational requirements for oil and gas equipment.
• Familiar with the terminology of the oil and gas industry.
