Field Officers (Entry-Level)

About this role

New Incentives is recruiting Field Officers (entry level) to work full-time at public clinics within Kebbi, starting in Shanga LGA. Officers will enrol eligible beneficiaries for cash transfers tied to infants’ immunisation schedules and work with the State Primary Healthcare Development Board. The role involves field-based work in LGAs and wards, with a focus on outreach, data collection, and community engagement to prevent child mortality through vaccination programs.

What you would do

• Enroll eligible beneficiaries at public clinics using strict criteria.
• Submit detailed enrollment logs and manage cash safely.
• Explain next visit dates and encourage return visits to clinics.
• Track and drive local attendance at community immunisation campaigns.
• Deliver health talks on immunisation benefits and side effects.
• Verify vaccinations, check health cards, and log supply shortages.
• Prevent fraud by beneficiaries or health facility staff.
• Ensure only infants living in the designated area enroll.
• Address local settlement issues and promote vaccination benefits.
• Write detailed reports after completing tasks and update progress materials.

• SSCE, Diploma, CHEW or related qualification.
• Willingness to travel by public transport to remote clinics several days a week.

• Must be an indigene of the local government area and reside in the operational ward.
• Experience in collecting, analysing, and reporting health data.
