About this role
A Field Credit Officer in Ekiti is responsible for onboarding and managing businesses that will access Moniepoint’s credit products, aiming to grow and profit from the loan portfolio while ensuring timely repayments. The role involves assessing credit applications, visiting borrower sites, and monitoring performance to support informed lending decisions.
What you would do
- Identify and onboard viable businesses in the assigned area to open Moniepoint business accounts
- Engage customers to maximise account usage and credit access
- Review and approve or decline loan requests based on data analysis
- Conduct physical visits to borrowers' business locations for evaluation of records and turnover
- Meet gross loan portfolio and portfolio profit targets while maintaining a performing portfolio
- Monitor active loans to ensure continued account use and repayment performance

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis
- Good knowledge of financial analysis (added advantage)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
