Field Credit Officer (Ekiti)

About this role

The Field Credit Officer role in Ekiti focuses on onboarding and managing businesses that will access Moniepoint credit products, with responsibility for growing the loan portfolio while ensuring repayments. The job is outsourced, onsite, and reports to the Regional Credit Manager.

What you would do

• Identify and onboard viable businesses within the assigned area to open business accounts with Moniepoint
• Engage customers to ensure optimal usage of accounts to qualify for access to credit
• Review and approve (or decline) loan requests by thoroughly analysing all available data
• Embark on physical visits to potential borrowers’ business premises to evaluate books, inventory and turnover
• Meet gross loan portfolio targets and portfolio profit targets by maintaining a healthy number of loan customers while ensuring loans are performing
• Monitor active loan portfolio to ensure continued use of business accounts and loan repayment performance
