Field Credit Officer (Akwa Ibom)

About this role

A Field Credit Officer is needed in Akwa Ibom to onboard and manage businesses that will access Moniepoint’s credit products. The role focuses on growing a loan portfolio while ensuring timely repayments and monitoring borrower performance using the company’s tools. You will assess credit applications and make recommendations to management before, during, and after disbursement, considering economic factors. What you would do

• Identify and onboard viable businesses in your area to open Moniepoint business accounts
• Perform credit-related tasks as directed by a supervisor
• Visit potential borrowers' business locations to evaluate books, inventory, and turnover
• Engage customers to promote optimal account usage to qualify for credit access
• Meet gross loan portfolio targets and portfolio profit targets by maintaining a healthy loan client base
• Monitor active loans to ensure continued business account usage and repayment performance
• Review and approve or decline loan requests based on available data
