Field Credit Officer (Abia)

About this role

The Field Credit Officer works in Abia to onboard businesses, assess credit requests and manage a loan portfolio for Moniepoint, ensuring repayment and profitability. The role targets individuals with credit sales experience and knowledge of credit risk analysis, reporting to the Regional Credit Manager and operating onsite.

What you would do

• Identify and onboard viable businesses to open Moniepoint accounts in your area.
• Engage customers to maximise account usage to qualify for credit access.
• Review and approve or decline loan requests after analysing available data.
• Visit potential borrowers' premises to assess business books, inventory and turnover.
• Meet gross loan portfolio and portfolio profit targets while ensuring loan performance.
• Monitor active loans to ensure repayment and continued business account use; perform other credit-related duties as assigned.

• At least 2 years’ experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution.
