About this role

A full-time Field Collection Agent responsible for managing delinquent loan portfolios, visiting customers to negotiate repayment plans, and recovering funds across Nigeria. Target is to minimise non-performing loans while upholding professional relationships.

What you would do

• Visit customers with overdue loan repayments at residential or business locations.
• Negotiate feasible repayment plans or settlements based on customers' ability to pay.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly recovery targets.
• Follow up delinquent accounts via phone, text, and email when not in the field.
• Keep accurate records of field visits, interactions, promises to pay, and recoveries.
• Conduct spot checks and field investigations on customer addresses or business status when required.

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of proven experience in field recovery, debt collection, loan marketing, or customer service, preferably in microfinance or fintech.
• Local knowledge of routes, commercial hubs, and communities in the assigned area.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
• High integrity, resilience, and patience under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
