A Field Collection Officer is responsible for managing overdue loan portfolios, making field visits to borrowers, negotiating repayment plans, and recovering funds, while upholding professional and ethical standards. What you would do

• Visit customers with overdue loan repayments in their homes or businesses
• Negotiate structured repayment plans or settlements based on the customer’s ability to pay
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recovery targets
• Follow up delinquent accounts by phone, text, or email when not in the field
• Maintain accurate records of field visits, interactions, promises to pay, and recoveries
• Conduct spot checks and field verifications on addresses or business status when required

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in accounting, banking, business administration, economics, or related field
• 1 to 2 years of proven experience in field recovery, debt collection, loan marketing, or customer service
• Familiarity with local routes, commercial hubs, and communities in the working location
• Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills
• High integrity, resilience, and patience under pressure
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office or loan management software)
