Field Auditor (Rivers)

About this role

Entourage Integrated Trust Limited, a financial firm specialising in micro and corporate loans and investments, is seeking a Field Auditor for Rivers. The role is based in Port Harcourt with options for travel across Nigeria. The auditor will apply accounting knowledge to assess risk management, controls and governance processes and will report audit results and recommendations.

What you would do

• Keep up to date with sector rules, regulations and best practices
• Prepare and present audit reports and document processes
• Monitor processes and regulations
• Conduct follow-up audits to verify management actions
• Travel to different states for audits
• Provide qualitative and quantitative evaluations from data
• Identify control weaknesses and suggest risk mitigation measures
• Maintain communication with management and the audit committee
• Ensure staff comply with company policies and regulations
• Provide independent advice to support legality and goal achievement

• HND or BSc in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related field
• Proven auditing experience, preferably in microfinance or lending
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good problem-solving abilities and ability to work under deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office and accounting software/databases
• Strong mathematical aptitude and interest in the financial system
• Sound independent judgement and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Knowledge of auditing standards, laws, rules and regulations
• Present good presentation and documentation skills
