What you would do
- Develop architectural designs, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models for buildings.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure work aligns with approved plans and standards.
- Produce detailed architectural drawings and specifications using design software.
- Recommend suitable building materials and coordinate to manage project costs.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, structural engineers, QS, contractors, and other professionals.
- Prepare design reports, project documentation, and technical drawings.
- Visit construction sites to assess conditions and take measurements.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, safety standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Identify design or construction challenges and propose solutions.
- Meet with clients to discuss needs, present proposals, and adjust designs.
