Factory Operations Manager
About this role
The role is Factory Operations Manager for Elizabeth Maddeux Limited in Ogun, responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing operations, driving production efficiency, quality and safety, and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction chemicals, building materials, or related manufacturing industries.
What you would do
- Lead and oversee all factory operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and operational objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity, reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and optimise costs.
- Oversee production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory standards across plant operations.
- Lead and develop production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to deliver high performance.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- 8–10 years' manufacturing experience in the construction industry.
- 5 years' experience in a senior factory, plant, or operations management role.
- Knowledge of production planning, process manufacturing, industrial automation, quality systems, and maintenance management.
- Proven experience managing factory operations, production budgets, cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement projects.
