Facility Manager (Solar Mini-Grid) - Delta
About this role
The role is for a Facility Manager to oversee the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a solar mini-grid facility in Delta, including maintenance, HSE, security, asset management and stakeholder relations. It targets candidates with experience in facility management or related energy infra and a technical background.
What you would do
- Supervise daily operation of the solar mini-grid.
- Monitor PV generation, battery storage, inverters and distribution systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate corrective maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Supervise site staff including technicians, cleaners and security personnel.
- Ensure regulatory, safety and environmental compliance and maintain records.

- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical/Electrical Electronics or related technical discipline (e.g., Renewable Energy Engineering).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in facility management, electrical infrastructure or renewable energy.
- Professional certifications in HSE, Electrical Safety, First Aid/CPR, Fire Safety, Solar PV/Renewable Energy a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good decision-making, organisational ability and resilience under pressure.
- Experience in community engagement and stakeholder management would be advantageous.
