Facility Manager
About this role
A Facility Manager is needed to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance and safety of the company’s facilities and properties in Victoria Island, Lagos. The role involves coordinating maintenance plans, supervising facilities staff and external contractors, monitoring utilities and regulatory compliance, and preparing management reports. The position targets candidates with relevant facility or property management experience and a background in related engineering or building disciplines. What you would do
- Oversee daily facility operations and general management of properties.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for building systems and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and safety hazards.
- Coordinate repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
- Supervise maintenance staff, cleaners, security personnel, and service providers.
- Coordinate and monitor external contractors to ensure timely, quality service.
- Maintain records of maintenance, warranties, contracts, inspections and assets.
- Monitor utility consumption and advise on cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, fire and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare facility management reports and assist with budget planning.

- Bachelor's degree or HND in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Business Administration or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant facility or property management experience.
- Professional certifications in Facility Management, Project Management, Health & Safety or related field are advantageous.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors and maintenance personnel.
- Knowledge of building services (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water systems) and safety procedures.
