Facilities Manager
About this role
A Facilities Manager role at the Dangote Group in Lagos, based at the plant site in Ibeju-Lekki, overseeing utilities, grounds, housekeeping, vendor management and regulatory compliance. Suitable for candidates with extensive facilities management experience in manufacturing or plant environments.
What you would do
- Set and enforce cleanliness, hygiene and housekeeping standards across facilities
- Prepare cleaning schedules, checklists and inspection routines
- Manage housekeeping team rosters, supplies and equipment
- Oversee pest control and fumigation programmes
- Coordinate waste management and liaise with LAWMA and regulators
- Identify, onboard and manage facilities service providers and monitor their performance
What they are asking for
- BSc/HND in Facilities Management, Engineering, Estate Management, Environmental Management or related field
- 7+ years of facilities management experience, with at least 3 in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience in manufacturing or plant environments (preferred)
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH/IOSH, IFMA/BIFM, PMP (advantage)
- Knowledge of plant maintenance, utilities, and Lagos State regulatory bodies (LAWMA, LASEPA)
- Strong leadership, communication, budgeting and vendor management skills
