Fabrication Supervisor

Role: Fabrication Supervisor for Scruples Resources in Lagos. What you would do

• Supervise day-to-day fabrication activities.
• Allocate tasks to fabricators, welders, fitters and helpers.
• Plan fabrication work according to drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings and material specifications.
• Coordinate cutting, fitting, welding, assembly, grinding and preparation activities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to meet inspections and testing requirements.

What they are asking for

• HND or Bachelor's degree, technical qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, Welding Technology or related discipline.
• Relevant fabrication, welding or technical supervision certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, equipment, materials and safe working practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of welding, fitting, cutting, assembly and fabrication processes.
• Good understanding of quality control requirements applicable to fabrication activities.
