Experienced Tax Manager

What you would do

• Assist clients to evaluate tax positions and provide advice based on tax laws and KPMG's tax practice code.
• Manage multiple projects involving diverse tax issues.
• Review business structures of companies to identify tax and operational inefficiencies and propose planning opportunities.
• Provide tailored tax advice addressing client needs.
• Drive business development and strategic initiatives for the firm.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and with relevant tax authorities at management level.
• Drive innovation and improve delivery of client services.
• Supervise, coach and develop junior team members.

• 7 to 10 years of relevant tax consulting experience in CIM or FSI sectors.
• Tax experience with any of the Big 4 firms is an advantage.
• Minimum of second class (upper division) Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in any discipline.
• Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
• Excellent business development, financial, analytical and accounting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills in a challenging and supportive environment.
