The role involves assisting with food preparation, keeping kitchen areas clean and sanitised, and ensuring proper handling and storage of deliveries. Previous experience in kitchen, restaurant, or hotel environments is advantageous.

What you would do

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations and prep areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen tools promptly.
• Receive, inspect and store food deliveries and kitchen supplies.
• Follow food handling, storage and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist with setting up and closing down kitchen stations.

• SSCE or High School Certificate.
• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant or hotel environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
