Executive, Workshop Engineer
About this role
Smartflow Technologies Limited in Lagos is seeking an Executive Workshop Engineer. The role involves designing and testing control panels, coordinating circuit designs, and providing technical support to field engineers within a company that specialises in flow and level automation and fuelling systems. It is suited to someone with an Electrical or Electronics Engineering degree and at least two years of hands-on experience.
What you would do
- Develop technical designs, wiring schematics and templates for control panels
- Coordinate electronic circuit designs, circuit board assessment and repairs
- Provide technical support (remote and on-site) to field engineers and technicians
- Document designs and technical guides for automation panels and procedures
- Design, fabricate and test control panels
- Adhere to safety requirements and coordinate with the OHS coordinator to investigate incidents
What they are asking for
- BSc, BEng, BTech or HND in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a related role
- Strong understanding of control systems, motor control and PLCs
- Proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical schematic design
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electronic circuit design and troubleshooting
