Executive, Quality Control

About this role

Executive-Quality Control role at Shalina Healthcare in Ogun. The job is to ensure that all raw materials, in-process products and finished pharmaceuticals meet the required quality standards in line with GMP, GLP and regulatory guidelines. It is suitable for candidates with a chemistry/biochemistry background and several years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

What you would do

• Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products and stability samples.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP and applicable regulatory requirements (NAFDAC, WHO, FDA).
• Carry out chemical, physical and instrumental analyses using HPLC, GC, UV spectrophotometry and dissolution apparatus.
• Review and interpret analytical data and document results accurately.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure calibration and validation are performed as scheduled.
• Participate in method validation, method transfer and verification activities.

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related field.
• Between five and eight years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory instruments.
• Good understanding of GMP, GLP and regulatory requirements (NAFDAC, WHO).
