EV & Charging Operations Lead
About this role
The EV and Charging Operations Lead is based in Abuja and oversees ProTaxi’s electric vehicle availability, charging operations and maintenance for the fleet. The role reports to the General Manager or Country Operations Lead and coordinates with OEMs or service partners as needed.
What you would do
- Plan and manage daily charging schedules for the fleet.
- Monitor battery health, charging status and vehicle readiness.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnose first‑line EV/charging faults and coordinate OEM or specialist service partners.
- Maintain maintenance and service records for every vehicle.
- Establish and enforce EV and charging safety procedures.
What they are asking for
- Electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering or related technical background.
- Hands‑on experience with EVs, automotive diagnostics, charging infrastructure, solar/battery systems or modern vehicle electrical systems.
- EV/high‑voltage certification is preferred.
