A Lagos-based aesthetic clinic is seeking an experienced Esthetician to join the team at One & Only Health Centre in Victoria Island. The role focuses on delivering facial and advanced skin treatments, conducting skin analyses, developing personalised treatment plans, and advising clients on skincare and aftercare. The position requires working with doctors and the broader team to ensure a smooth client experience and maintaining high standards of hygiene and client care. The clinic aims to provide premium skincare and beauty services in a luxurious environment, prioritising innovation, quality and client satisfaction.
What you would do
- Perform professional facial treatments including deep cleansing facials, HydraFacials, brightening facials and other customised skin treatments
- Conduct skin consultations and analyses to identify clients' skin types, concerns and treatment needs
- Perform chemical peels, microneedling and other advanced skin treatments within training scope
- Develop personalised treatment plans and recommend skincare products and homecare routines
- Educate clients on skin health, aftercare and long-term skincare maintenance
- Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes and progress reports
- Ensure treatment rooms, equipment and tools are cleaned, disinfected and maintained to hygiene standards
- Monitor treatment supplies and assist with stock management
- Build and maintain client relationships through communication and service
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless client experience
What they are asking for
- recognised qualification or certification in Esthetics, Beauty Therapy or related field
- ITEC, CIDESCO or equivalent qualifications are an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience as an Esthetician, preferably in medical aesthetics, luxury spa or professional skincare clinic
- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, skin types, conditions and cosmetic ingredients
- Proven experience performing professional facials and skin treatments
- Experience with HydraFacials, chemical peels, microneedling or other advanced aesthetic equipment is highly desirable
- Understanding of treatment contraindications, client safety, sanitation and infection-control procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-groomed, professional appearance and hygiene
