About this role
Role involves conducting 45-minute tablet interviews with households in Kano, using Hausa language, and managing respondent selection and consent for follow-up. It is aimed at enumerators supporting health and humanitarian data collection, with gender-specific interviewing requirements.
What you would do
- List households and select respondents using Kish grid.
- Obtain informed consent from participants for current and future rounds.
- Conduct 45-minute tablet interviews in Hausa in a private space.
- Provide appreciation tokens and a discreet referral card to participants; follow distress protocol when needed.
- Record participant contact details and synchronise data daily.
- Ensure interviews are conducted in accordance with gender-specific interviewer rules.
